Photographs that feel like the people in them.
Natural portraits and candid wedding photography with enough direction to make you comfortable — and enough space for the unplanned moments to happen.
Relaxed, not over-directed.
I look for expression, gesture and the relationship between a person and their surroundings. The result is polished without feeling stiff: useful for personal portraits, creative work, couples and anyone who would rather not spend an hour performing for a camera.

The bits between the poses matter.
A wedding is full of tiny stories happening at once. I photograph the expected moments, but I am equally interested in the glance across a room, somebody laughing at the edge of the frame and the atmosphere around the people you chose to have there.
That candid approach gives you a record of how the day actually felt, alongside the photographs you knew you wanted beforehand.
